ClamWin Free Antivirus

On page 50 of the August edition of PCA, this was reviewed. It was suggested that, since it's free, that it was used as extra security in addition to another antivirus. Is PCA now suggesting that we use two antivirus programs in face of earlier advice from them and many others not to use two because of very probable conflicts arising?

The reason it is suggested not o use two together is that one will see the virus signature dtabase of the other and take those signatures to be real viruses.

Clamwin can be used as a portable application and therefore can be transported easily to a PC that has not used a AV progrm and may therefore be infected.
