Hi, was wondering if anyone could please help me. I recently decided to build my first pc, after purchasing an Asrock AliveNF7G-HD720p mobo, and a Athlon 64x2 5000+ processor. I went along to my local component shop and asked for some memory. The guy gave me a stick of Kingston value RAM KVR800D2N6/1G, 240 pinn DIMM PC2-6400 CL6.Thing is I can find no reviews on this memory, and all the memory that is recommended for my mobo is usually CL5. Was just wondering if this would be compatable or can anyone recommend a different type?
Any help will be gratefully recieved.

The CL rating refers to the CAS Latency timings see click here and providing the RAM is non-ECC, un-buffered then you should have no problems. It just means it will run a virtually undetectable fraction slower than CL5.
