Checksum error

  GBL 11:04 19 Mar 2009

I changed the battery on the mainboard this morning and when it booted up it gave the message, "checksum error defaults loaded" etc
Do I need to do anything apart from enter the correct time and date, which I have done from the desktop??

Is your PC still keeping the correct time?

I should have added and date?

Apart from 6 seconds it was still correct, per the Atomic Clock

You could look through the rest of the settings to see if they are set to what you want.

There are many settings which may have been set to non-default vales - as a "for instance" SMART is normally turned off for the drives - and you may want it turned on.

Will do that later as don't want to reboot at the moment, thanks to all.
