Cheap & Simple Home Networking

  Aaron1408 14:41 03 Sep 2004

Can anyone recommend products that would allow me to cheaply and simply connect my Laptop with my PC? All I need to do is transfer files from one to another. I don't need to share devices or internet accounts. All I would like is something plug and play that saves me having to burn a CD everytime I need to copy files and folders between the two.

Looking forward to being enlightened...

Hi, Go take a look at Belkin's web site, they have loads to offer. They also have a free 24 hour helpline for life (0800 No)

Direct USB cable connection click here may be the cheapest and simplest way to share files.

Otherwise if both computers have ethernet connections, a simple crossover cable.

Agree - a simple crossover cable linking two ethernet Lan cards would be the cheapest
