Any recommendations for a cheap printer. Basically for printing writing, no graphics, so colour rendition not important. Running 98SE and there are 2 unused USB ports available. Off to Sheffield for the day so replies from me will be early evening. Thanks in anticipation, BE.

How about a low cost B/W laser? Check out Samsung ML1200 or ML5400. I have a ML1200 which cost less than £100 with extremely low running costs (£40 for about 4000+ pages of text). Couldn't be more satisfied with it.

Thanks folk. Kudu, went to Ebuyer and saw a Lexmark printer and scanner combined and bought one! I know if one bit goes wrong you have probably lost the other but it fits the bill! Less wires and messing about.
