I am going aroad (Lanzarote, then Malaga)

what is the voltage in these countries, my charger says110-240V so can I use it in these countries (with a simple pin shape changer thingy?) I have 4 spare battries, but will be taking alot of pics. TIA..Alan

Voltage is 220 volts so your charger will be fine with use of suitable adaptor.

I agree with Freecell, no problem in charging with adaptor.

Hi, my Son lives in Lanzarote, he too uses digital cameras (still and Video) bought in England - taking photo's is part of his living, so I am sure you will be ok, no matter how many pics you take, you might even meet him - this is what he does click here

Enjoy your trip and Merry Christmas.

I also confirm that you will have no problems.

Just ensure that you have a continental plug adaptor; (something like this).

You can get a UK to Spanish adapter at any 100 pesata shop in Spain, much cheaper than airport.

Not still on the Peseta's are you, never thought I would see a bear behind on this forum;-)

No... ;-) thats what the shops that sell everything (bazars) were called and the name has stuck. Mind you a lot of the food labels etc still have old and new currencies on them, we do measure in metric though ;-).

From my visits to Spain, I have noted that some the old 100 peseta shops have now become 1 euro shops. Inflation!.
