I have inherited a computer with XP Home SP2 it is set up with two accounts. Shall we say "A" and "B". "B" is the Administrator. I would like to change the set up to just me. How do I go about changing the set up?Your advice would be much appreciated.Barmoor
go to Control Panel - user accounts - follow instructions - jarani
I think you have to first create your new account "C" with administrator priviliges and then when logged on, on your new account you can delete the 'A' account through Control Panel > User Accountsunless there is a way of changing the name of the "A" account that someone else might know about
