Changing Office Xp to Office 2007

  johnem 20:24 03 Dec 2007

Evening all, despite some of the comments advising against this idea, if I replace Office XP with 2007, is it best to install 2007 and hope that it picks up the established links and data in Outlook etc, or would it be best to export Outlook data and then uninstall office XP. System running Win XP Pro.

It should pickup all your settings and update your office system to 2007, it should not be necessary to uninstall Office XP, but it it is necessary Office 2007 will prompt you and do the uninstalling for you.

Thanks for info. Guess I will then have to engage in the reported massive learning curve. They call it progress!!
