Changing jpeg resolution/size

I have a large number of high res (300dpi) images that I now want to upload to a web site. These need only be about 75dpi.
I believe there is a programme that can 'batch change' a folder of images - could anyone please advise me?

As with all photo manipulation programs save a copy and work on that, don't work on the original!
