Changing I.S.P's.

After being cut off by "Freeserve" (a mistake on their part, they later admitted). I am in the process of changing to Virgin Broadband and of course have a ten day wait in front of me. Can anyone confirm that the modem I obtained from "Freeserve" ("Copper Jet" label on back gives details as follows "Allied Data" Number HLF_800WW10ADS11-02...Made in Thailand. On the front is a number 800-USB and "Allied Data Speed Line") will be compatable.

Thank you for that wonderful reply. I hope you realize that we can't all be as clever as you obviously think you are. I just hope that one day you may need a sensible reply .
