Changing drive letters

  tasslehoff burrfoot 22:42 29 Jun 2004

I have recently created a partition on (what was) my D drive using diskmgmt.msc. I wanted to have one of the partitions to now be called D:.

However, when I try to name it thus, I get a little box saying that D: is already in use and the next available letter is L (I have a restore partition as E:, DVD rom (F:) DVDRW(G) and card readers (H:-K:).

If I go back into dskmgmt there is no D: drive showing.

How can I rename my L drive as D?
