Changing colour on desktop Icon Text

Could someone please tell me how I can change the text colour of the text on the desktop icons on Windows XP Pro SP2. Thanks in advance

Windows provides no facility to do that. You may be able to with a third party program.

Thanks for the speedy response Mr Mistoffelees. I am surprised at that but I certainly cant find anything to do it with. I will tick this as resolved. Thanks again.

It looks like this program, Window Blinds, can do it. A free trial ia available.

Although this is an old question I hope this is of some help to those trying to find an answer.
This is a facility I have always thought Windows XP lacked - along with the ease of finding information on how to make the icon text'background boxes' transparent.
Two programs I have found are :-
SetColor by 12Ghosts @ click here and
ActiveIcons.
Both of these make other changes to the desktop possible.
