Does anyone know how to change the £ simbol to the simbol for the Euro ?

The Euro symbol is usually on the 4 & $ key and accessed by pressing ctrl - alt - 4 at the same time

Also you can use Alt-Gr + 4

You can also, if you need to, go to the Control panel - Regional Settngs - and change the currency symbol to €. This would mean that in currency field in spreadsheets, a € would be used in place of the £.

I've got an American Laptop, and the keyboard has a Dollar Sign, and NO £ sign. Does anyone know how to change this.

The € key is always a Alt-Gr + (another key) on all keyboards, to the best of my knowledge. I'm in Spain, and have a Spanish keyboard - but it's still Alt-Gr + (e on my keyboard).

The reason is that there was no € symbol when keyboard layouts were agreed internationally - maybe in another 20 yrs or so it may change :-))
