Change default 'Favorites' path

My PC's is partioned into 'C' & 'D'. I use 'D' as a normal drive for 'My Docs' etc etc, thus when I have to format / reinstall the OS (XP2 SP2) my data does not need backing up. What I want to know is "Is it possible for IE's Favorites' to be moved to 'D' (easy) and this can then be default location for the folder when it is accessed from IE7"?. It's just that I forgot to copy them last time I reformatted 'C'.
Cheers
