is there any manual way of changing my boot screen in win xp pro ( the screen that says windows xp pro) on start up. i saw a program that does it but i would rather do it my self than have the spyware that comes with it.
you need to edit the NTOSKRNL.EXE file to do it manually.
And if you have a go, ask fitshase about what it's like when things go wrong doing it.It can be done but be very careful! And good luck.
