My mashine is a AMD Athlon. Now looking at various computers, I see some are for sale with Intel Celeron, others with Intel Pentium and others with AMD Athlon. What are the differences between these 3.I note that Celeron is the cheapest of the 3.Compared to my AMD Athlon 800 / 256, would a celeron 2GB / 512 (or even 1024) be much betterThanksFred
click hereclick hereFor the most part, you can equate a Pentium with an AMD - the AMD run at lower clock speeds for the same restult.Centrinos are mobile processors with extra cache - see above re. celerons.
