my old mobo is a gigabyte GA-6WMM7 rev2 (originally Packard Bell). i`m trying to find the fastest CPU i can fit on the board, gigabytes site said that info was coming soon.Also would i need to adjust jumpers etc for it to run.thanks for the help in advancemark
you should download the manual for your motherboard, it will tell you in there.If memory serves me correct, this is a socket 370 motherboard and IF you can find any I would think it could take a max of around 1gig.
supect that size CPU is to far obsolete.might try a local computer fair tommorow.again many thanks.
You'll probably need to upgrade the BIOS as well.
