Can anybody help?
Both my CD/RW drives has suddenly stoped working.
The first is a Lite-on LTR-24102b which is a internal scsi. when I try to use the drive i get the message
"the disk in drive r is not formated, do you want to format it now" with a yes or no button,
whatever I press it will not read any disks.
The other drive is a Yamaha CRW2100x which is a external firewire drive.
When I try to use this drive I get the Message
"Y is not supported the network request is not supported"
Any body got any ideas

first off, have you installed or uninstalled any softwarebefore the fault occured? you may have corrupted your ASPI layer...

I should uninstall Norton and then visit the adeptec site where you will find a small download that will fix most drive problems

The LTR-24102b is not a SCSI drive its an IDE drive.

Norton causes more problems than it solves.
