everytime a try to copy any discs i am told that my cdrom drive has a bad memory block could anyone tell me how to fix this thanks leo

Are you copying Games CDs? If so,1) Its probably the Copy Protection stopping you.2) This sort of thing is not to be discussed here.If not,then can you fully explain what you are copying, how and what spec your PC is??

what memory block?, the drive has had it & needs replacing with a new one...

Your opening words are: "everytime a (I) try to copy any discs (disks)".....You use the word "any".Open Device Manager, highlight your drive and check for any exclamation marks.Then, with the drive still highlighted, click on Properties.You can now check that your drive is in order via the three tabs.Remember the old saying that you can't kid a kid whose kidded thousands.
