In the current issue of PC Advisor one can instal, from the free disc that comes with the magazine, a programme entitled "Paragon Easy CD/DVD Recorder 3.0 full program"I have a laptop running XPhome with a CD-R, CD-RW and a DVD player installed. My question is; if I load this free programme, does it mean that I will now be able to record DVD's from existing DVD's, or have I missunderstood the programme offered.I would like advice prior to my installing said programme please
You will not be able to record DVD's as you only have a DVD player but you should be able to record CD's.
Thanks DumboFixer, in that case what does the Paragon offer as I was already able to record onto blank CD's?
It offers you the facility to record to dvd which is a different ball game to cd's . Even if you had a dvd writer you would still need software to be able to use it.You may already have the software if you have Nero.writers are not expensive
Thanks eedcam, now I understand (I think)
Have a look here Enoch give you some idea what DVD is about click here
