Although this is for a floppy it may apply to CD also.
To remove floppy seek on computer
Put a floppy disc in the drive. Double click it to open it's window. Now close the window, leave the floppy in the drive, and double click the C drive to open it. Now remove the floppy disc and finally close the C drive. This apparently silly procedure can remove a left over referencing to the A drive.
Where it say's floppy use a Data CD or music try both
Try this go to device manager double click on CD-rom to expand the folder then click the CD-rom go to bottom and click remove, then restart your computer and Windows will redetect and setup the CD-rom, hopefully remove the problem at the same time.
