If you right click on the drive there is an eject option. There doesnt seem to be a software option anywhere to close the draw again. Is this correct?.

I have an old SCSI burner which closes itself on Bootup.

I don't expect the tray to close otherwise by itself. I usually close it anyway to keep the dust out or save dropping something on it......said he selfrighteously.

MMMM....:-)yes,cause when you eject,it doesn,t fly back into its case while your there taking it out,give it a shove!:-0
