CD- DVD Problem

Hi All,
Can anyone help? For some reason I have lost both my CD-Rom and DVD drives.
When I go to my computer there are no icons. Have gone into system-hardware-device manager and it shows a yellow ! Have un-installed and re-installed several times still the same. Windows XP finds both the drives on restart, but no icons are shown.
When I go into property’s in device manager the following error shows

Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

Click Troubleshoot to start the trouble-shooter for this device.

Have tried system restore back to several days ago but the problem is still their.

Any advice ?

Download CDGONE from click here Make a restore point first, unzip then run CDGONE then reinstall your burning software (if you have any)

OR CD-DVD-FIX from click here
