cd download problem

Hello & thanks for reading!

The following error message appears only when attempting to download program files to cdr/rw :

"You do not have permission to open this file. See the owner of the file, or an administrator to obtain permission"

I have tried adjusting the various administrator settings in the Internet content section etc, with no success. I run WinME.

Thanks in anticipation.

"download program files to CDR/RW" what exactly do you mean?

If, as I think, you're dowloading software from the Internet you need to be aware that you can't do that directly to your CD drive. You must save the download to a hard drive location first, and then write the file as a data CD.

Thanks for taking time to respond to my query: 'cd download problem' the problem has now been resolved, it was due to a formatting error.
