I've just been trying to change the directory I'm working on in DOS to a directory which has a space in its name. I was unable to do this, it gave me an error message saying "Parameter format not correct"
I typed: cd "C:\Documents and Settings\Charence Wong\My Documents"
which returned the error message 'Parameter format not correct - "C:\Documents'
I also searched the net to look for solutions and tried dragging and dropping the folder onto the DOS window which generated the directory path, however, when I pressed enter the same error message appeared. My OS is XP Home. Any ideas how I can get cd to work?
