CD Creator

I have recently upgraded to Windows XP from Windows ME and in doing so have lost my CD writer which was "Roxio Easy CD creator" - the programme must be still on my hard disk somewhere - is there any way I can retrieve it ?
Thanks for any information

What version was it? If below version 5 it won't work with XP anyway.

To function properly, Easy CD Creator 5 must be reinstalled after you upgrade Windows

Thank you Jester- the version I used in Windows ME was: Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4.02 Standard Edition
Where do I get the upgrade (if it's possible ) ?

You'll have to buy it on click here

Will it not be still in the hard disk somewhere ?
I'm reluctant to but a new version, if I have to buy one I'll go for Nero I think

Only Easy CD 4 will be on your disk if Windows XP hasn't removed it. As said above it won't run under XP so even if you could find it it would be no use...

OK - then the question is answered - Thank you Jester2K - ( Begining to wish I'd kept ME !!!)

Did the upgrade advisor on the CD not advise you of this problem before you upgraded?

Sorry Jester2K: I only just saw your question: no I was not aware of the problem before, but I since found I can use XP's built in CD writer so it seems to be OK now - thanks for the advice
