Cd burner question

I just did a *.mp3 search on my computer according to this all my sound/song files are mp3's yet whenever I burn to an 80min Cd all I can fit are between 15 - 24 songs am I doing something wrong or is it simply a case of needing larger capacity Cd's? I've only used 700mb/80min ones so far.

Burning audio CDs usually is done by time rather than the size of the files.

If you burn the files as data files you can put lots more on.

Is that possible on Windows Media player?

Sorry, don't know about that.

Do you have Nero?

No, but I've got WMP and Iomega's Hot Burn Pro. I can do a data disc on Hot Burn I guess? :o) I'll give it a go and see.

Thanks for that link - awesome stuff! If I can't put loads of songs on Cd via Hot Burn I'm gonna download that.
