the read-write heads on my cd-burner are misaligned. the cd-burner is used. what do i do?
how do you know this please?if this is so then its not something you can fix yourself.new cd burners are cheap nowdays.it would probally cost more to repair it than to buy new.
New rewriters from about £25 upwards - but, as huggyg71 asks, just exactly how do you know the laser is misaligned. It takes a qualified repair technician using special equipment to test and, if necessary, realign lasers as the read/write gap is very, very tiny...:-)
i know because i get a misalignment error in media player. also it says that my mp3s are 30MBwhen they are more like 3mb
Use a decent burning program maybe?
