CD Burner (2)

Found a cheap burner which requires the following :-

Supported Operating Systems WIN98SE, WIN2000, WINME, WINXP
Min Recommended CPU 350Mhz or higher
My computer runs 98SE but the Pentium 2 processor is only 266 MHz. Bearing in mind I only want it for word processing not audio or video work, would I have any problems?

Yes, your problem would be that you do not have the required miniumum CPU of 350Mhz. It really all depends whether 350Mhz is the minimum or the recommened. If it's only recommened you will probably run slow. If it's the minimum then you won't run at all.

Recommended means that it is not absolute - merely desirable.

Give it a go - you will be saving money and could well be surprised.

It is indeed just a recommendation so I shall give it a try.

Bald Eagle,
Don't forget your PSU, might not be up to the job, in an older system.
