cd burn problems

I've tried to burn a mp3 file to cd. When i check the the disk it looks like its burnt a bt dmp playlist. I ve tried using both nero and nfi cd marker with the same result. I ve got a BT digital music player. I use xp home and use windows media. When i go into my d drive with the disc in the file systems is cdfs and free and total bytes is 0. When i double click it plays onto my dmp player. is there any way i can burn the cd to work in my hifi as it used to before i install the dmp but dont wont to remove this

Open nero, create an audio CD from the options and then drag over the songs you want to the added panel. Make sure in the burn options you are not burning an MP3 file and are actually buring a WAV version to the CD.
