Had Windows Vista with free CCleaner installed.
Have now upgraded to Windows 7 and find that if I want to install CCleaner I will have topay for it.
Is this correct or is there stilla free version?

I thought the same yesterday and was going to post a thread on this myself! If you go to CCleaner’s web site there is a huge button saying “download”, which then directs you to a payment page.

The trick is to realise there is a small download hyperlink below the big button which is for the free version.

Over the years I have come across this “hiding” several times. I suppose it is only to be expected that software providers try to get you to pay for a version rather than use the freebe.

Simply, following Crossbow7’s/bremner’s links will also get you to the free one.

It's one of the best freebies around. That's why I donated a tenner a few years ago. Well worth it to help it being a freebie.
