CCleaner.

I use CCleaner, (amongst other safety programs), and am very happy with it. However, in the 'Advanced' section I only have 'Old Prefetch Data' ticked. Should I be ticking any others and if so which ones? The other boxes are as follows;
Menu Order Cache,
Tray Notification Cache,
Window size/location cache,
User Assist History,
IIS Log files,
Hotfix Uninstallers,
Custom files and folders.

Thanks for your help.
Conny.

User asst is ok to tick (itll wipe your most recent programs list as well though !)
Old prefetch, hmm , its better to let the Prefetch look after itself, i'd untick that and ignore the other ones as well.

On EVERY computer that I have set up I always tick ALL the advanced boxes. You will be surprised how much room Hotfix uninstallers take up. Try it, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Prefetch is limited (IIRC) a maximum of about 128 entries, so will keep clearing itself to some extent.

done a 3 month test on prefetch
started cleaning every day
then left to build up over 3 months
im sure 110% system is better faster leaving
prefetch alone

Thanks to everyone for their help. It's much appreciated. Will leave 'Advanced' section alone.

Thanks for the tip about the hotfix uninstallers Gandalf,I've never used CC to delete these before, and it did indeed give me a lot more space.
