Case noise...

  Sketch 00:21 25 Mar 2003

I booted up my PC yesterday and today. With the same effect.

The system seems to load and function as normal. But the noise and vibration from the case seem to reach 'unhealthy' levels. It sounds like something has fallen out of something? The system recently underwent maintenance for a new motherboard, the first one was de-funct.

It wasn't doing THAT a week ago. Whats up?

(It seems to function normally again. If I shut down. Give it 30 seconds and then boot.)

All knowledgable help appreciated.

Is your fan(s) catching on any cables?

check for anything loose or bring it back to them.

If my fan were catching on cables...

Why would a restart seem to cure it? The fan doesn't go anywhere.

Any furthur advice?

It will probably go back for a check up regardless, but I'd like to know.
