When I connect my card reader to the USB port the commuter slows to snail pace, so slow the only way to get rid is to press power button, any ideas
Thanks

Do you have any other devices attatched to your USB port? What specification does your computer have and Windows Version?

Try disconnecting some other USB peripherals, only thing I can think of is a power issue. If it does make a difference then the options are disconnect something every time you use it or buy a new power supply.

Sometimes a self-powered hub will help.I have a PNY card reader, and PNY suggested this method when I had a similar problem.

My HUB is self powered, could it be my memory, and how do I find out how much is left,
System
AMD Athlon
1.04 GHz
256m ram
