Cant shut down win/xp

  misters 18:25 20 May 2004

Hi i know this as been asked a hundred times or so but it has eventually happened to me. My pc running win/xp wont shut down just freezes or sometimes restarts.

In fact pc has been acting up the last couple of days, the other day couldn't connect through to the internet, then the next day couldn.t open certain programms like, my av and msn explorer.

I tried an online virus scan but found nothing, have also updated my av after it started to work again. Everything was fine until today when pc wouldn't close down, so looking for some help on this at the moment.
Thanx in advance.

although the online virus scan detected nothing it could be the sasser worm. try going to click here ,and following the steps to check that you are not infected
