An addendum to my previous question.
I am currently using Outlook Express as my main email Manager and my current Operating System is Windows XP.

having read your first post it occurs to me that you may not have correct settings on the account IE the outgoing server should be BT with the incoming being VIRGIN sorry if is not that
How long ago did you transfer from Virgin to BT? It could be that the account has died.
Can you log in to Virgin webmail?
