Can't search for specific email in outlook 2007

  Blessed 21:15 11 Mar 2010

When I type something in search mailbox I get "no matches found" "Try searching againg all mail folders" I can see some of the emails that I'm looking for but they don't come up on the search. Can someone tell me what I need to do to be able to search my email folders. Also, under Inbox I have "Drag a column header here to group by that column" how can I close this. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Has the folder been indexed? see click here

When you have selected a folder to search you should see it's name in the search box.

Hi there,
I'm using third party tools to search in Outlook. I find, out of all the offered add-ins, Lookeen (click here) the most useful for my needs. Search from any point for anything in Outlook. Maybe it's worth a look for you...

Greetings Boris
