Can't save anything to CD's

  Boomer1 21:35 24 Jun 2003

I'm have the same problem with all my CD-RW discs. I can't save anything to them or even erase them when it comes to it. Every time I try I get the same message saying that they are Read Only files in both instances. It does say that I should be able to save files to the discs but it won't let me.It's not like the discs are full up either. I don't recall being asked if they should be read only in the past when I used to save stuff to them. What am I doing wrong? Please help as it's frustrating the hell out of me. Thanks in anticipation.

Which burning software and version of windows?
What errors are shown (if any).

Check the attributes of the files you are trying to save... if they are "read only" then you can't copy them. (Rt hand click against the file and go to Properties)
