Just a quick question - I'm sure there's an easy answer. My PC all of a sudden won't recognise my CD & DVD drives. All that is listed in windows explorer is my hard rive and floppy.Any ideas?
When you boot up the computer does is say either:Found CDROM: [CD-ROM Drive Name/model no.]orSecondary Master/Slave: [CD-ROM Drive Name/model no.]?
They are recognised in the boot up sequence. However, there seem to both have conflicts in the device manager.
It says this under properties in the device manager:"Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)"
