Can't play DVD

Please help. The other day I bought an audio CD with a free DVD. However I can't seem to play it on the DVD drive on my computer. I am using Windows 98 and have Real One Player, Power DVD and Windows Media Player on my machine but none of them seem to recognise there is anything in the E drive. Where am I going wrong?

Sorry not to get back sooner but I do not own any other dvds so had to borrow one which also did not work. So I re-installed PowereDVD and the borrowed one worked but my free one did not. Went to PowerDVD web site and downloaded a patch now all works fine.
