My taskbar has suddenly moved to the top of the screen. It will not move whether locked or unlocked.I have tried altering video settings to get access to the ends but without success. I also find that System Restore, while making restore points will not actually restore to an earlier setting.Teldoc
Try click here - Restore to XP Default
Teldoc,Right-click on the taskbar and make sure that "Lock the taskbar" is unticked. Then left-click and hold down the mouse button on a blank bit of the taskbar and drag it to the bottom. You might like to lock the toolbar afterwards.Regards,Felix
TeldocSorry, that should be "You might like to lock the taskbar afterwards".Felix
Thanks Felix T Cat - I tried that already but it doesn't work - either clicking on the end or the middle of the taskbar.Teldoc
Teldoc,It has to be a blank part in the middle - the bit where open programs show. Hold down the left button, drag to where you want and release. But do make sure the Taskbar is unlocked. You don't see the change until you release.Regards,Felix
FelixNow I've got it - thanksTeldoc
