Okay, hey again all, hoping you could help me with my last query.
I have converted my VOB files from my DVD-RW disc into .mpg files.
However, when I open Windows Movie Maker, it does not allow me to import them.
It says: The [file].mpg cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.
Is it possible to download a codec that will solve this problem? If so, where can I get it? If not, how can I get the file into Windows Movie Maker? Should I convert it to yet another type of file?
Just to add that I don't think that WMM will export to a VOB file once you have editted it. I am sorry but it is a useless package. I think if you want to do serious video editting you will have to use something like Studio or Ulead. David
