When on the internet using Firefox I can't download or open files. I click on them and get a blank screen.
I have tried other internet brousers.
I have treid tempory turn off of anti virus and firewall but it has not helped.
I have checked all settings I can find.
All my other programmes update OK
No problems with collecting files attached to an email.

Tractordriver,

In Firefox, go to Tools - Options - Downloads and tick "Ask me where to save..." and see what happens. Perhaps it is saving them all without telling you.

Felix

You are probably best creating a folder for downloads and then (following FelixTCat's route) to nominate it using the Browse button.

I do this with both FF and IE and the folder also acts as a backup for downloaded files.
