Cant change homepage or toolbar add-ons

  lovechop 15:36 08 Mar 2008

Hi, im running xp sp2 and i think my probs are to do with the registry. I try to change homepage and it says Some settings are managed by your system adm. I try to manage add-ons but the screen does not even open. Oh, and i have some file association errors for internet shortcuts. I have a Hijackthis log but it is too long to send. Thanks for any help.

You might have some software installed, like Spybot Search and Destroy that manages your Homepage, not allowing it to change. Check your antispyware programs for that option.
