I uninstalled svc pack3 because it was causing lots of problems, followed the microsoft advice etc, uninstalled ok but now i can't boot back into windows, cant get into safe mode either.
All i get is the boot screen, when i go to any option all it does is go through the whole thing again.
Tried to boot from cd but it keeps asking for admin password which i know i didn't put in.
Any ideas?
thanks

Quickest solution would be a complete re-install.

Yes, I,m afraid you will lose everything, but technically you already have as you can't boot and access it. I really think it's time for a deep breath, insert the OS CD and start again.

DO NOT format yet.
You could download and burn a live linux CD and recover your files from the hard drive to CD or memory stick.

Use the free Offline NT Password & Registry Editor tool to successfully reset the local admin password on a Windows PC using a bootdisk (simply follow the instructions in the site):

Then retry recovery console to do a repair install.
