cant access win 2000

i have win 2000 installed on this second hand computer.
The problem is that i dont know any passwords and the cancel button is greyed out on the network login screen so i cant even get into windows, any help would be gratefully accepted.
Q how can i get to the c: promp?
!it has a ntfs partition and a ext dos extension

You need a boot disk from, eg, click here and then when booted use fdisk to remove any partions from the site. Then you can repartition, format, and reinstall your OS.

unfortunately i dont have a 2000 disk so i just have to try and get past the network/domain login screen!
or just access the c: drive
will the 2000 boot disk on floppy enable me to access the c:?

Your only chance is to install a new OS - the one you have may not be legal unless you can get the CD and licence. The seller should have given you the OS or sold the PC without one.

Have a look around and you will get Win98 cheaply enough.
