Can't Access Shared File

  gazmania 19:10 06 Nov 2004

I'm running a home network with 2 computers, one XP Pro (the server), the other XP home, both SP2. I have shared a specific folder on the server. Both 'share this folder on the network' and 'allow other users to change my files' are ticked. The shared folder appears in 'My Networks Places' on the client PC. When I try to access the shared folder on the client, a message saying "you don't have access permissions to view this folder" appears. Does anyone know if there is a control somewhere in order to allow permission to view the folder and files?
