Can't Access My Mail in Thunderbird

I attempted to access my e-mail earlier today and was greeted with the new account wizard. I've read the help articles at the Mozilla website and still can not get my accounts showing to read my mail.

My profile is at Application Data\Thunderbird\Profile, in the profile sub directory are two other folders Extensions and qvstc2ee.default. My profiles.ini file reads like this:-
[General]
StartWithLastProfile=1

[Profile0]
Name=Default User
IsRelative=0
Path=C:\Documents and Settings\G*** G*******.G***********\Application Data\Thunderbird
Default=1

The ** are to hide my name.
I simply can't get my existing profile to work.

Can anybody suggest what I am doing wrong.

Can you still access your mail in Outlook Express?
If so I would consider deleting your current account in T'bird and then create a fresh account by importing your settings from OE.
