canon printers, photos very red

  keef66 09:28 10 May 2006

We've had 2 Canon printers in the last 6 years, a bjc 3000 and now a pixma ip3000. Both have produced photos which are noticeably too red. Can anyone explain in Fisher-Price terms how to correct this so that what I get out of the printer is more or less like what I see on screen?
Do I need to use a different colour profile for printing photos? Do I have to create one or can I acquire one from somewhere?
