Hi All,

Could anyone tell me if Vista Home Premium includes the necessary drivers for a 4/5 year old Canon Pixma IP3000 printer or will I have to dowmload them from Canon.

Thanks,

There is a driver add-on package on the Canon website click here

Thank you. Would you download and install the add on package before running the Printer set up disc?

With thanks,

On reflection, that was a silly question of mine. Obviously you would install the add on first.

Thanks,

You may find Vista has drivers already for the basic functions. Try it first.

Before your post, I had downloaded and installed the add on package. I then installed the printer, ignoring a warning from Vista about known compatibility issues, and the installation proceeded successfully.

Thanks,
